Song

Here's a video of Anna "singing" a silly little song I sing for her. I basically go through everyone in our family and sing each person's (or animal's) name three times in a row. Anna's caught on (especially to using the animals' names, as you'll see). If I start singing the song, she'll supply the next name she wants me to sing - it's dorky, but really cute. I took this video tonight while making her dinner - enjoy!

18 Months

Tomorrow Anna Boo is officially 18 months old - holy cow! I thought she looked so cute today I had to snap some pictures on the back porch.

Zoo!

Anna, Jimmy, and I made our first trip to the Cincinnati Zoo last Saturday with the zoo pass my parents got us for Christmas. It was a little chilly outside, but Anna LOVED seeing all the animals. I didn't take many pictures to document the day, but I am excited for many more zoo trips in our future.

The highlights of this trip included watching a monkey take a poo from his perch in a tree and a baby bonobo drink his mommy's pee ... Anna said "yucky" in response to both.
